Mike Dreitzer

Mike Dreitzer serves as Chairman of the Nevada Gaming Control Board, appointed by Governor Joe Lombardo in June of 2025.
Dreitzer brings over 25 years of experience in gaming, gaming law and regulation and executive leadership.
Dreitzer began his career as a Deputy Attorney General in Nevada, representing the NGCB and NGC. He went on to hold senior roles at Progressive Gaming, BMM Testlabs, and Ainsworth Game Technology. Most recently Dreitzer served as CEO of Gaming Arts, a start-up gaming equipment supplier.
As Chairman, Dreitzer leads the Board’s regulatory efforts with a focus on modernization, transparency, and efficient oversight of Nevada’s gaming industry. He holds a B.S. in Agricultural Economics from Cornell University and a J.D. from Emory University School of Law.
Dreitzer has been a resident of Nevada for more than thirty years. He’s married and has two sons.
