Lu's began his legal career in 2016 and specialises in gambling, advertising, commercial law, technology, and intellectual property. He is admitted to practise in Portugal and currently leads Lektou's Porto office. His practice focuses on gaming, media, and entertainment law, advising clients on complex cross?border mandates. Before joining Lektou as Partner in 2024, Lu's served as Head of Legal at Clever Advertising, one of the gambling sector's leading affiliates. He has extensive experience in M&A transactions, complex commercial contracts, and regulatory compliance across multiple jurisdictions. His work includes managing licensing processes, maintaining strategic liaisons with regulatory bodies, and providing advisory services to foreign governments on advertising regulations. A member of IMGL and IAGA, Lu's frequently speaks at international conferences as a gambling industry expert, lectures university classes, and contributes articles on the gaming sector. He holds a Master's degree from the Catholic University of Portugal Faculty of Law (2016), completed the Data Protection Officer Course at the Deloitte Privacy Knowledge Center (2020), and attended the Advanced Course in Sports Betting at Cat'lica | Lisbon School of Law (2022).
