Dr. Keith Cortis is an Associate Director within the Digital Solutions team at KPMG Malta and is the AI Lead. He has extensive experience in leading and handling AI and data driven research, development, and innovation projects at both a European and national level spanning academia, the private sector, and the public sector on numerous fields. Moreover, he provides consultation services on AI for a number of projects at a strategic, architectural, technical, and governance level. This includes specialised AI advisory within the gaming sector, supporting organisations such as gaming operators in leveraging AI responsibly, ethically, and effectively. He has also been involved in various strategies at a national level for the Government of Malta, such as the Strategy and Vision for Artificial Intelligence in Malta 2030. As KPMG's AI subject matter expert, he helps organisations understand how to best utilise and adopt AI to maximise the potential business impact.
